How to Assemble a Kids Locker

So you bought a Kids Locker from us and it arrived unassembled…now what? We try our best to include assembly instructions with each shipment, but if yours got lost in the shuffle or you’re just looking for a little extra help putting your locker together, this blog post is for you. :) Read on for 10 easy steps detailing how to assemble a kids locker.

First of all, find a location with plenty of space (your garage or living room would work well) to put the locker together so that you have enough room to lay all of the pieces out and get them organized. Your locker pieces should include: a back panel, top panel, bottom panel, two side panels, locker door and frame, two adjustable legs, one storage shelf, one double-pronged ceiling hook and two single wall hooks. You’ll need a 3/8” wrench to put everything together.

Now you can get started. Here are the steps:

1. Place the back panel on a flat, even surface (two chairs or a pair of saw horses will work) to make it easier to assemble the locker.

2. Bolt the top panel to the inside of the back panel.

3. Bolt the side panel to the inside of the back panel and the outside of the top panel.

Congratulations, you’ve just successfully assembled one of our Kids Lockers! The next step is to carefully stand the locker upright on a level surface. (It may be necessary to loosen the bolts on the legs in order to make sure the locker is level.) And finally, we highly recommend anchoring the locker to the wall or floor before use for added safety.

Have fun with your new locker!
