When you hear the word “locker,” you probably have flashbacks to your junior high or high school days (and maybe cringe when you remember those recurring nightmares about forgetting your combination!). Contrary to what many people might think, lockers have many other uses other than just in schools. And while we do sell lots of them to schools, that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to all of the different types of customers we work with on a regular basis. Check out the infographic below to find out who we sell so many lockers to!
Office Lockers, An Unlikely Source for a Creative Touch
When you think of a financial building, you might imagine a boring beige or gray building full of drab cubicles–but BlackRidge Financial’s new building in Fargo, ND is anything but boring. Every wall and piece of furniture there has a story or hidden meaning. In one room, you’ll find a table made from a replica of the Fenway Park scoreboard with replicas of famous baseball bats for legs. In other parts of the building, you’ll find steampunk light fixtures, a 2-ton steel chandelier, and flooring from the old basketball court at North Dakota State University. To complete the sports theme, they added some office lockers instead of a coat rack. The place is full of hidden (and not-so-hidden) references to sports, the band Rush, and the Star Wars movies.

“How much does a locker cost?” We get asked that question pretty much every single day. And the answer? It depends. Our selection is large and varied, full of different sizes, styles and types of lockers. The material a locker is made out of–typically metal, plastic or wood–affects the price (check out our blog post about the differences in these types of materials to find out more). If you’re looking for a bank of lockers (3-wide instead of just one individual locker, for example), that factors into the cost. We also offer custom options and accessories that cause the price to fluctuate.
Taking all of that into consideration, we truly do have lockers to fit every budget. You can spend anywhere from $10.95 (for our Tiny Steel Lockers) to upwards of $2,500 for some of our heavy duty and stainless steel lockers. Here’s a breakdown of some of our more popular styles of lockers in price points on the lower end of most people’s budgets. 😉

And not only do they look great (and would make the perfect addition to any man cave, might we add!), they provide plenty of functional storage for all of your dad’s gear.

We have baseball on the brain right now…in case you missed it, Major League Baseball has returned. Spring Training has begun. Pitchers and catchers reported a couple of weeks ago, clubs had their first full workouts with their entire roster last week, and the first exhibition games are this week. The regular season gets underway in a little over a month, with the first official game on Sunday, April 5th between the Chicago Cubs and the St. Louis Cardinals at the newly refurbished Wrigley Field. (Excuse us while we take a moment to dream about cracker jacks and hot dogs…)
The start of professional baseball also means that t-ball, pee wee, high school and county rec leagues aren’t too far away from starting themselves! And with baseball comes…lots of equipment. Mitts. Bats. Hats. Helmets. Cleats. Uniforms. And lots and lots of baseballs. So how do you keep all of that stuff organized? We have the perfect solution—our Baseball Lockers.
