Our large steel footlocker is quality crafted with durable steel frames and birch wood interiors using nickel-plated hardware riveted for strength and appearance, built to last a lifetime. Footlockers make excellent storage containers and furniture for college kids, military personnel, camp kids and more. • Quality Finish:  Steel exterior is coated with a durable scratch resistant finish. Wood interior is finished using stain, sealer, and catalyzed stain lacquer. We hand rub or buff the surface lightly in the direction of the grain to eliminate rough spots and then wipe with a soft cloth
