The lock and key design are proprietary, so someone can't just take a key and go have it copied at any regular home improvement store. Likewise it is drilling and pick resistant, keeping the gun inside safe. Placing the pistol inside is easy with foam padding that the gun lays flat on. This position makes it safer as there is much less risk of the pistol falling over when the door is opened. A two-tone powder coat finish is scratch resistant and looks great in any environment, and we offer three different colors for your convenience. This particular unit is best mounted on a desk or on a shelf, adding one more step in keeping weapons out of reach of those who shouldn't have them.
