Just like all of those NBA and college basketball superstars, our lockers got mad skills.
We recently sold some of our black mini lockers to Sourcing Central Promotional Products for a fun, unique purpose. One of Sourcing Central’s long-time clients, High Road Communications, often comes to them for help with branded merchandise.

“They often have very unique projects on which we’re thrilled to work,” Rebecca Fitzpatrick, Account Executive at Sourcing Central, said. “…in this case they were looking for a specific item (black mini lockers in a specific size and with a fast turnaround time), which we were only able to find on SchoolLockers.com.”
The lockers were an integral part of a Nike-sponsored media event at the Air Canada Centre for the launch of Hoop Club TO on Feb. 25, 2015. According to Hoop Club’s website, the organization is “a gathering of individuals from all walks of life, celebrating Toronto’s rich and rapidly growing basketball legacy…Hoop Club is about sharing resources and ideas, lending support and pushing the game forward.”
“As big basketball fans ourselves, this was an exciting task for us at Sourcing Central. The lockers provided the opportunity to integrate branding from both parties, as well as a convenient and fitting take home storage solution for the shoes and uniforms donated by Nike,” Fitzpatrick said.
For the launch event, Sourcing Central purchased more than two dozen black mini lockers from us and laser-etched the doors.
“Laser etching is a decoration process that provides a premium, high value look/feel to certain products. We at Sourcing Central love combining this method of decoration with carefully curated product suggestions for our clients, who are looking to create a classy and permanent custom promotional item as part of their campaign,” Fitzpatrick said. “The actual process of laser etching uses heat to burn off or remove the outer coating of a product (in this case, the black paint), revealing the original material color underneath.”

Now THOSE are some great-looking lockers. ;) To quote Sourcing Central’s Facebook page, “Not gonna lie, we’re a little bit jealous of the fine people who get to take these bad boys home!”
