Sometimes the smallest person can be the biggest inspiration.
This is “John John.” He’s five years old and wants to be a firefighter when he grows up. And another thing about John? He has cancer. He was diagnosed with an aggressive, malignant brain tumor in 2013 and doctors told his parents last year that he only had three to nine months left to live. But John is a fighter! And fighters deserve pretty awesome rooms...so it's a good thing The Corner Kingdom Project exists.

The Corner Kingdom Project’s mission is “to design beautiful yet functional rooms for children with special needs or illnesses, providing them with a safe, comfortable space to sleep, play, and live.” Additionally, their rooms provide not only functionality but plenty of organization, so parents can spend their time focusing on and caring for their children.
Almost $11,000 was raised and more than 50 volunteers donated their time to give John his dream room, which includes a fire engine bunk bed (complete with a fire hose, siren and working lights!), garage bay closet and even a slide!
And every firefighter needs an awesome locker to hold his turnout gear, right? We were happy to provide a discounted red locker to provide some fun, unique storage for all of his gear.
We are grateful to have had the opportunity to work with The Corner Kingdom Project and help spread the word about their awesome mission. And of course to help John get the room of his dreams. Keep on fighting! You are an inspiration to us all.
